Full time Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
Contact Personnel are currently looking for a Workshop and Stores Operative to join our well-respected client based in Norwich. This will be a key role within the company and you would be responsible for assembling and testing hydraulic hoses to ensure they are fit for purpose and providing support to the stores team as required.
Main Duties
Manual & mechanical handling of products within warehouse
Creating and producing picking lists & delivery notes using
Picking and packing of stock parts and equipment
Inspecting quality and quantity during picking
Serving customers at our trade counter
Manufacturing hydraulic hose and steel tube assemblies
General housekeeping of warehouse
Understanding and complying with Health & Safety procedures across the site
Skills and Training Competences
Ability to work within strict standards and procedures
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Good communications skills
Ability and aptitude to learn
Flexible and adaptable
Demonstrate a positive “can do” approach to work
Ability to function well within a team environment
Adhere to company Quality, Health, Safety policies
