Warehouse Operative – Days

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative for one of our clients based in Long Stratton. Own transport essential due to location.

Your responsibilities:

• You will be working in a warehouse for a busy window and door manufacturing company. Your main duties will be assisting with the loading and un-loading of window frames and doors, loading vehicles for despatch, moving products to work stations.
• Heavy lifting will be involved.
• You also will be required to glaze PVCu and Aluminium windows & Doors under supervision. When glazing ensure the Quality Control survey is available (found on the production board) and check each frame is glazed in accordance with the instructions, such as obscure, panels etc.
• After glazing you will have to inspect each sealed unit for scratches.
• If a breakage occurs report this to your supervisor immediately. Record the damaged unit for future reference.
• Follow the clean as you go policy when working.
• Any other duties as required. All training will be provided.

Shift pattern:

• Monday –  Friday, weekend off. Working hours 07:30am – 16:30pm
