Work alongside Purchasing Commodity Manager to deliver specific Insourcing, Outsourcing and Resourcing Projects

Responsible to create and manage an overall task based plan with a high level of stakeholder management  

Support the Commercial Negotiations, Supplier Short Listing or Selection

Responsible for the preparation of RFQ Packs, sending enquiries, coordination of responses and eventually implementation of approved changes

Candidate must have:

  1. Strong Project Management skills with ability to manage and report effectively to stakeholders on multiple projects
  2. Demonstrable experience of successfully Resourcing Suppliers / Tool Moves / Production Transfers, coordinating trials and change control implementation
  3. Is able to read 2D drawings
  4. Fully understands Automotive Quality and Operational Management standards i.e. PPAP, IATF 16949, Leased Packaging

Travel is an essential part of role to our Norfolk based sites as well as Supply Base

Supply base is typically West Midlands centric with some outliers further afield

Must have Driving License, car etc

Possibility of overseas travel requirement to Europe, valid Passport willing to travel to Portugal and potentially further east in Europe.
