Production Operative

Here at Contract Personnel, we are currently recruiting for Temporary Production Operatives on behalf of our well-established and respected client within the manufacturing industry.
What We’re Looking For:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic

Ability to follow instructions and work safely

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly is beneficial but not essential
You will be allocated to one of several key departments based on your skills and operational needs, which may include:
Surface Preparation & Finishing
-
Inspection and reworking of materials or components
-
Preparing surfaces for treatment or finishing
-
Applying pre-treatment processes in line with quality standards
Production
-
Manufacturing of various parts or components
-
Keeping the workspace clean and organised
-
Conducting regular quality assurance checks
Assembly
-
Assembling and fitting components using hand or power tools
-
Assisting with builds across different stages of production
-
Supporting the team to meet daily output targets
Health & Safety Measures
-
Manual handling and equipment training provided
-
High standards of housekeeping and workplace maintenance in place
-
PPE provided where necessary
-
Duties are rotated to reduce repetitive strain and fatigue
-
Specific controls are in place for risks including noise, dust/fumes, machinery use, and manual handling
PPE Required:
-
Steel toe capped safety boots (must be provided by the worker)
