Hygiene Operative – Nights

ONGOING HYGIENE CLEANER WORK IN BRANDON – NIGHT SHIFT (20:00–05:00)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Working as part of the hygiene team in a busy food production environment, you will be required to do the following:

• Carry out daily and deep cleaning tasks in all production areas, including floors, walls, machinery, and equipment.

• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures in line with hygiene standards (HACCP, BRC, etc.).

• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.

• Ensure all hygiene records and checklists are completed accurately and on time.

• Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

• Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to the supervisor immediately.

• Adhere to all health and safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.

• Dispose of waste according to factory protocols.

• Carry out any other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a hygiene, cleaning, or food production environment (preferred, but not essential)

• Ability to follow hygiene and safety procedures

• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a food production environment

Shift Pattern:
 20:00 – 05:00 (Night Shift)
Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work

Pay Rate:
 £13.31 per hour
