Role – Forklift Instructor position

Location – Norwich, Norfolk

Working hours – Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm

Salary expectations – Between £26,000 – £29,000 per annum + Company car and fuel card

Capacity of role – Permanent position

Our client who is a leading training provider is currently recruiting for 2 Forklift Instructor to join their busy training team.

Candidates will have worked within a similar position previously

Main duties will include –

• Being responsible for the operator assessments and the writing of objective reports
• Communicating and advising the Company’s training to staff on all matters associated with operating lift truck operations.
• Preparing and maintain any records, reports or other documents associated with the responsibilities expected of an instructor.
• Maintaining Health and Safety Standards
• Making recommendations for training aids and/or publications used in the Company’s training operations.
• Adapting instructional techniques to suit learning needs of trainees

Candidate attributes –

ü  Applicants will need to of held an RTITB Instructor qualification for a minimum of 12 months and have at least 9 months left before their renewal is due.

ü  Ideally applicants should hold qualifications for a range of lift trucks, although this is not essential as further training will be given as part of training and development.

ü  A full driving license is required due to business travel.
