Fabricator Welder/Fitter

The Role – Fabricator Welder/Fitter

The ideal candidate will be able to work off technical drawings via our in-house design team.
• Experience in all aspects of fabrication including but not limited to
• Tig/mig welding jobs to a high standard,
• Workshop/fabrication equipment, such as a cnc guillotine, cnc break press, pillar drill and
bandsaw
• Working with stainless steel and mild steel
• Working on site installations in the UK and abroad
• Quality workmanship in sheet metal fabrication
• Maintain good housekeeping, safety, material handling duties, and meet quality and quantity
standards.
• Operation of assembly fixtures
• Problem solving of workplace issues
• Quality inspections of work in progress
• All other tasks as assigned by Supervision

Requirements:

• Must have proven skills and experience as a TIG/MIG Welder
•  Able to read and work from engineer drawings independently
• Ability operating manual fabrications machinery/tools
• Proven ability to work off own initiative
• Self-motivated and high energy
• Ability to work within a team
• Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
• Able to use own initiative
• Conscientious
• Perseverance
• Work as part of a team to ensure on-time quality product to our customers [internal and
• external)
• Incorporate safe working procedures into all daily activities in and around facility
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Experience working in the food industry is preferred
• Ideally qualified to NVQ level 2 and above or time served
• Fabricating for 3 years is preferred
• Driving licence preferred
