Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We are currently looking for a Forklift Driver to join our team on a temporary basis in the NR11 area.

Duration: Approximately a couple of weeks
Hours: 07:00 – 17:30
Location: NR11

The Role

Your main duties will include:

• Operating a forklift truck (FLT) to assist with the loading and unloading of potato crates.

• Ensuring all site health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

• When things are quieter on the FLT, assisting with the grading of potatoes and removing any potatoes with visible blemishes or damage.

• Working as part of the harvesting operation, grading potatoes within the potato harvester while it is attached to a tractor and operating in the fields.

• Assisting with the lifting and de-soiling of potatoes throughout the harvesting process.

• Placing potatoes that meet company standards into containers ready for distribution and storage.

• Carrying out any other duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous FLT experience is required.

• A good attitude and willingness to get involved with other aspects of the role.

• Ability to work safely and as part of a team.

• Agricultural or potato-harvesting experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

All training will be provided, so you’ll be fully supported throughout the role.
