Blind Fitter

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for a Blind Manufacturing Operative based in the Attleborough area. The company has over 40 years’ experience in making, measuring and fitting blinds and curtains, including conservatory blinds and commercial blinds. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

We are looking for candidates who will be required to manufacture Roller Blinds initially, but will be cross-trained in the manufacturing of all types of blinds. 

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 16:30pm

Key skills required:

• Ability to work as part of a team, or alone, as necessary
• A keen eye for detail to ensure sure we continue with our high manufacturing standards
• Ability to interpret written works orders
• Ability to measure accurately and be comfortable working with the metric system
• Good organisation skills and be able to work to tight deadlines
• Previous experience of working in a similar environment would be an advantage
• The ability to be comfortable using an industrial sewing machine would be beneficial
• Positive, friendly attitude
