Contract Personnel provides prizes for county wide Maths contest!

Contract Personnel are delighted to be providing the prizes for an annual Maths Competition – run by the Inspiration Trust.

We have provided 3 sets of Magic Cubes – which consist of keychains, 3D puzzles, Rubiks Style cubes and a Pyramid Pyraminx for the winners!

Organised by Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form, the Origami Competition is part of this year’s Maths Week – running from Mon 14 November through to Friday 18 November.

The county wide contest is encouraging students to create a captivating space-display from Origami – with materials provided by the teachers.

There are two categories for Primary and Secondary Schools, with prizes provided by us at Contract Personnel for the top 3 schools.

The deadline to submit a picture of designs is 28 November.

Sarah Hooper, Director at Contract Personnel, said: “We are delighted to be able to support the Inspiration Trust as we are always looking for ways to enhance and develop the learning of students within our community!

“We hope the prizes provide encouragement for even more students to take part in the competition.”

The prizes are both educational and entertaining and solving the puzzles are said to be a “good way to enhance  hand-eye coordination, reaction capacity and colour sensitivity, improve memory, patience, spatial ability and logical thinking ability.
