Contract Personnel Lift the Norwich City Canary Cup Trophy
It was a fantastic day for the Contract Personnel team as they were crowned champions of the Norwich City Canary Cup at Carrow Road.
After battling through the tournament’s ‘Champions League’ style group stage, the CPL side secured their place in the knockout rounds by finishing fourth in the group – progressing by the finest of margins on goal difference. From there, the team showed real determination, holding their nerve in a dramatic penalty shootout victory over KNP before going on to seal a 1–0 win against Lavish Life Competitions in the final.
The winning squad featured Louis Jeffery, Joe Jeffery, Nick Hastings, Adam Barker, Mark White, Riley Debenham, Sam Bond, Ryan Haylett and Josh Wells, all expertly managed by Joe ‘Guardiola’ Randlesome, whose tactical leadership clearly paid off.
A standout moment of the day came in the penalty shootout, where Joe Jeffery produced a match-winning save that will surely go down in Carrow Road folklore for years to come.
A huge thank you also goes to the Partnerships team – James Rushmore, Kieran Olds and Aaron Skoyles – for organising such a successful event, along with the referees and everyone at Norwich City Community Sports Foundation for their support throughout the day.
Beyond the football, the tournament was a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and build new relationships, making it a memorable occasion both on and off the pitch.
