Contract Personnel Inspires Careers Professionals at Suffolk Careers Reframed Conference

Contract Personnel was proud to be represented at this year’s Suffolk Careers Reframed Conference at the University of Suffolk, where Joe Randlesome delivered two engaging workshops focused on strengthening employer engagement within education.

The workshops, “From Careers Fair to Career Pathway: Creating Employer Relationships That Last,” explored how schools, colleges and employers can work together to build meaningful, long-term partnerships that provide lasting benefits for young people.

The event brought together careers leaders, educators and employer engagement professionals from across the region to share best practice, exchange ideas and strengthen collaborative approaches to preparing young people for the future workforce.

Contract Personnel would like to thank the conference organisers – Mark Walker MSc CMgr MCMI, Josie Finch RCDP, Linh Pook, Viki Barton, Madeleine Matthews, Karen Cross and Ashley Cooper – for hosting such a well-organised and inspiring event.

The conference also featured a range of outstanding speakers, including Jenny Higham and Michael Gray, whose expertise and insights provided delegates with thought-provoking discussions and practical takeaways.

At Contract Personnel, we believe that successful careers education extends far beyond a single careers fair. By building genuine, long-term relationships between employers and education providers, we can help create clearer pathways into employment and equip young people with the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to succeed.

The week of careers engagement continued with a visit to Taverham High School for its Careers Business Breakfast, organised by Arlene Warwick RCDP. The event provided an excellent opportunity to speak with students from a variety of year groups about career opportunities, employability skills, workplace expectations and preparing for the world of work. The enthusiasm and engagement shown by the students reflected the school’s ongoing commitment to careers education.

Contract Personnel now looks ahead to the Norfolk Careers Conference at The Nest on 8 July, where we will once again be supporting careers professionals and sharing best practice on creating sustainable employer partnerships.

We are proud to continue working alongside schools, colleges, employers and careers professionals across the region to help inspire the next generation and create meaningful pathways from education into employment.
